A safe place for baby to sleep is imperative to keep them physically safe, while promoting healthy growth and development. Baby’s well being is connected to the space in which they sleep.

While pack n plays and bassinets are considered suitable for safe sleep they are not ideal. There have been many instances of pack n plays folding in on babies occupying them. An actual crib or a mini crib is the safest option for baby.

Families of Honor was delighted to purchase a mini crib for a foster mother seeking to provide an ideal sleeping space for a baby recently placed in her care.

We have another foster family who has reached out to us for assistance with this. A precious 7 week old baby girl. This family has another infant in their care who sleeps in a full size crib. Only 1 infant is allowed per crib per safety guidelines.

Purchased items will be shipped to our wonderful Secretary, Shandy at Families of Honor who is a foster mom herself and a recent recipient of one of these mini cribs for an infant just placed in her care.

Families of Honor was founded on a heart’s desire to see foster families and children be well equipped to meet household and daily life needs. Additionally, we want to honor foster parents for selflessly providing care to precious children in our community, and bless the children placed in these homes.
