Church and Cannon Chapter, NSDAR - Springfield, NJ The Church and Cannon Chapter is located in Springfield, New Jersey. The Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890. We hope you will join us!

The National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, service organization for women who trace their ancestry to a patriot of the American Revolution. DAR is a service organization with the objectives of Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. Since our founding, more than 1 million women have been members of DAR and there are currently more than 3,000 chapters worl

d wide. Today's DAR members come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of interests. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.
