Many years ago the pastor of First Assembly of God in Springerville, Dennis Weiskircher, had a desire put in his heart to help the people of Round Valley who were struggling to put food on the table. Round Valley is a community that includes Springerville, Eagar and other surrounding towns in Apache County, Arizona. Statistics show that Apache County is the third poorest county in the United States and the poorest county in Arizona. With poverty levels so high it can be very difficult to keep a family fed healthy meals or even keep the lights on. Round Valley Cares inc. currently offers nutritional assistance twice a month with our food boxes and we are able to provide emergency assistance to families that need help with rent or utilities. As RVC has grown over the years, not only have we become our own non-profit organization, we have partnered with many individuals, faith based organizations, and the United Food Bank to reach thousands of people every year. While we do receive some grant money and food donations, to keep an organization like this going, we need your help. We are a certified 501c3 Non-Profit organization and your Arizona Tax Credit can be spent with us. All of our helpers and board members are currently 100% volunteers so every dollar you give goes to help the many in Round Valley that are in need. Would you help us to make sure that no man, woman or child in Round Valley goes to bed hungry tonight? With your help, we can make a difference!
Thank you and be blessed,
Travis Schroeder
President of the Round Valley Cares Board
