Today we celebrate Labor Day, a day that honors the workers who built this country and the labor movement that fought to make workplaces safer, fairer, and more just.

From the 40-hour work week, to weekends, to child labor laws, to workplace safety standards—unions made it possible. Every right we take for granted was won because working people stood together.

As we fire up the grill, spend time with family, or just enjoy a day of rest, let’s remember that this holiday isn’t just about the end of summer—it’s about recognizing the power of solidarity and the ongoing fight for dignity and respect for all workers.
