SPSEF Grant in Action

We funded Betsy Allison at Har-Ber High School for her Where Light Leave a Story: A Cyanotype Fabric Story. Through this creative project, Ms. Allison gave her students an opportunity to explore storytelling, self-expression, and the healing power of art. She shared that the project helped support the mental health needs of her art students.

This project was one of the three finalists for our Grant of the Year Award.

SPSEF Grants in Action

We funded Jeni Young at Shaw Elementary for her Rhythm, Regulation, & Joy: Expanding Music & Movement in Springdale Pre-K grant. Mrs. Young found great success incorporating music in her classroom, so she wrote the grant for all Springdale Pre-K teachers to have these instruments in their classrooms.

This project was one of the three finalists for our Grant of the Year Award.
