When we asked what your favorite aspects of our Visitor's Center were, there was one answer we saw over and over: you LOVED interpretive signage.

We want to bring that to one of our most popular trails, Weeping Rock. After multiple rockfalls, many of the signs on the trail were wiped out, and some of those that remain are outdated.

NOW is your chance to meet country star and actor Luke Grimes.

Buy tickets between June 1—10 for his July 4 benefit concert in Zion National Park, and you and a guest will be automatically entered to win a chance to meet him after the show (guest must have ticket).

The winner will be chosen at random on June 11, and notified via email used to purchase your tickets. All proceeds benefit Zion National Park.

There are more than 2,000 species of cacti in the world, and we’re lucky enough that several call Zion home, including this prickly pear.

You might spot their pink blooms popping up across the area this time of year. In a few months, they’ll turn into a fruit that the animals of the canyon will feast on.

Blooms like these remind us why we do what we do: protecting the Zion region for all its visitors and inhabitants, including the prickly ones.
