Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade The NWA Metsquerade is a fundraiser for Metavivor, a non-profit organization that uses 100% of donations for metastatic breast cancer research.

The NWA Metsquerade was started by Kelli Parker of Bella Vista AR & Lisa Quinn of Springdale AR. Pink ribbons abound in October and April announcing the seasons of Breast Cancer "awareness" in Northwest Arkansas. Hundreds of thousands are raised in our area, but what is being done to help those living with Stage IV breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer, the ONLY breast cancer that kills? A lot l

ess than you think. Metastatic breast cancer is breast cancer that has spread from the breast to vital organs and bones where it threatens and ultimately ends life. This isn't a pretty pink reality, but it's my reality and the reality for many of my friends. Join us for a night of dancing, dinner, drinks, silent and live auctions, and engaging speakers and help us raise money for METAvivor; the only non-profit ran BY metastatic patients FOR metastatic patients. Every penny they raise goes toward metastatic research. After hearing our message and meeting my incredible friends, I'm sure you'll agree that Stage IV needs more.

This is our 6th year for the Metavivor Fundraiser, in honor of Lisa Quinn who passed away from metastatic stage IV breast cancer. Her courage and advocacy were inspiring to many; myself included.
