Miracle League NWA

Miracle League NWA "If I were to tell you about a youth baseball league, you might call it ordinary. If you were to see them play, you would call it a miracle!"

If I were to tell you the athletes were physically and mentally challenged, you might call it touching.

This weekend, something small turns into something bigger.

For two days only, Kendra Scott is giving 20% of every online purchase back to Miracle League of Arkansas (use code LUBIA at checkout). A pair of earrings, a Mother's Day gift you meant to grab, a treat for yourself, all of it helps build the fields, the volunteers, and the community that make it possible for every kid and adult who wants to play baseball to play.

And there is more on the way. Miracle League is expanding to Northwest Arkansas, and every purchase this weekend helps build what comes next.

At Miracle League, the field is where it starts. Confidence takes root at the plate. Friendships form in the dugout. Players grow up, and they keep growing, carrying what they found on the field into lives their families once thought were out of reach.

Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17

Thank you for being part of the community that makes this possible.

When Spencer was ten years old, he heard something on the radio that changed his life.

A baseball league was coming to Little Rock. For kids with special needs. Spencer, who had already survived a brain stem tumor and years of hospitalizations, looked up and said, "I could play that baseball."
He showed up. And what happened next is something his mom, Marilyn, still talks about.

"It was the very first place that opened up things he thought he would never be able to do," she says. "It gave him the confidence to try other things."

Spencer is thirty now. Double master's degree. Runs a university sports program. Climbed mountains in Scotland. Built friendships across the world.

The confidence that made all of it possible started on a baseball field that this community chose to build and sustain. Your support is what keeps that field open for the next child who needs it.
