Beverly thought the bald eagle lying motionless in the snow was gone — then she saw his eyes open 🦅

She stayed beside the injured bird until Winged Freedom Raptor Hospital rescuers could reach them and rush him into care. The eagle underwent surgery for multiple fractures, received treatment for elevated lead levels and slowly worked his way from low perches to flying full laps around his recovery enclosure.

🇺🇸 Veterans Fair – October 22nd 🇺🇸

The Lac Courte Oreilles & Sawyer County Veterans Fair is coming up on Thursday, October 22nd, from 10 AM–2 PM at the Sevenwinds Convention Center.

This is a FREE event honoring those who served. Veterans and their families can connect with local, state, and federal organizations, learn about available benefits, enter to win door prizes, and enjoy lunch.

What a great showing of patriotism and community spirit at this year’s Cranberry Fest Parade!

We were proud to see our veterans, VFW - Springbrook Post #10568 members, Abraham Lincoln, ABATE of Wisconsin, Boy Scouts, and others proudly honoring and carrying the American flag throughout the parade. 🇺🇸

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, these moments are a wonderful reminder of our nation’s history and the generations who have served and sacrificed for our country.

A beautiful way to start the Cranberry Fest Parade with the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance. Our VFW - Springbrook Post #10568 members were honored to hold the American flag during the performance.
