Many birds of prey, including Eagles and Osprey rely on fish as an important part of their diet.

The VFW - Springbrook Post #10568 is proud to support the Winged Freedom Raptor Hospital by collecting unwanted fish for their birds. If you have fish you don't plan to use, drop them off at the post and we'll store them in our freezer until they can be delivered to help feed recovering raptors.

Every fish donated helps support the care and rehabilitation of these amazing birds.

Thank you for helping us make a difference for Wisconsin's wildlife!

The Vets on the Lake fishing event is coming up on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Barkers Island Marina Landing in Superior!

🕡 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
🎣 A day of fishing, camaraderie, and fun
🍔 Cookout and social hour to follow

This is a great opportunity to get out on the water, connect with fellow veterans, and enjoy a day on the lake.
