Infinite E Foundation

Infinite E Foundation Infinite E The Infinite-e Foundation has been established by the family of Erika Lynn Owen.

Erika lost her life as she made the supreme effort to rescue her beloved Shelty "Kairos" after he fell through the ice at Chisholm Lake Park in Wichita, Kansas on March 1, 2015. Erika graduated from Springboro, Ohio High School in 2005 and Kansas State University in 2010. As Director of Kid's Life at City Life Church in Wichita she organized, developed and designed an education center and curricul

um which served pre-school and elementary youth. Following her mission trip to Haiti in 2014 Erika was overwhelmed with love for the Haitian people and especially their children. One of her unfulfilled life goals was to return to Haiti and serve the children through mission work and education programs. The Infinite-e Foundation supports Nehemiah Vision Mission, St Jude’s Hospital, Mercy Ships and charities that benefit animal rescue, and disadvantaged youth. Erika's family hopes this Foundation will perpetuate her memory and promote the values which were dear to her heart.

I am finally finding time to reminisce over the wonderful Walk a Mile for Her Smile and Silent Auction we held on December 14, 2024. The event was our most successful ever, and we have so many people and businesses to thank for their loyal support over the ten years since we starting the Infinite-e Foundation to honor our daughter Erika and give to charities that she loved and supported during her life. It has been a heart felt journey for us, with many tears over the years, but also a healing and loving way of helping others less fortunate as we remember our sweet daughter’s giving heart of gold.

This is a huge album of photos taken during this event. Glen and I have so many people to thank that I cannot list them individually. But I do want to give credit here for the great photos taken, in addition to some of mine, by Mark Eikenberry.

Doni and Glen Owen share their daughter's story and the non-project organization they've started in her memory on this episode of "Springboro: Here & There."...

Our favorite silver jewelry designer, Pam Johnson, has generously donated this intricate daisy pendant which will be featured in our Silent Auction on Saturday, December. 14th. Each petal is formed and applied separately around a 24K gold center.. The artwork hangs on an adjustable leather cord and would retail in galleries for about $200 . Bidding will begin at $100. This piece is so beautiful and uniquely expresses Pam's design style. She will have a total of 9 jewelry items on which to bid.

This is part two of our sincere thanks to all of the small businesses and individuals who donated wonderful silent auction items, and gave of their time and energy to help us make "Walk a Mile for Her Smile" the best year ever. WE cannot tell you how much we appreciate you. Since Facebook only allows 50 tags per post, I have to break this post into part two. Sorry about that, but I don't want to leave anybody out. We are grateful for each and every one of you. So here is the ongoing list: El Meson Restaurant in West Carrolton, Berns Garden Center, Siebenthaler's Garden Center, Brendas Flowers, Springboro Wine & Spirits, Burlap And Birch, The Children's Theater of Cincinnati, Mike Hemmert, Gift Shoppe at The Golden Lamb, Jewelry Creations by Pam, LLC, Amber Stan Rudd, Phyllis Bastow Harover,

Charlie Barb Richardson Markise, Pamela Shores, Shannon Callahan and Jeff, Marilyn Tschorke, Shafer Owen,Gary Owen, Betsy Flanagan Eikenberry, Rebecca Breitrick, Kelly Kohlman Madsen, Kuprowicz and the many volunteers from Southwest Church Women's Ministry who helped with the Silent Auction and Cafe Hospitality. Also I want to say a special thanks to Graeme Materne and his amazing Springboro High School Jazz Choir for entertaining our guests Church while the Silent Auction took place. The choir's Christmas program was fabulous, as always. And, last but not least, thank you to Santa John Wonderly who arrived on the back of Jeff Prass on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Again, Infinite E Foundationis so grateful for all that you do. The foundation has grown beyond our dreams. While we may be small compared to other foundations, we can make a big difference for many who need help desperately. That would be Erika's intention...one small gesture, one gift at a time, and always with her beautiful smile and giving heart.

Well, Facebook will only allow me 50 tags in one post. So I am presently working on Part 2 of acknowledgments of donations from very special businesses and friends. Stay tuned. It takes me a while to do this.
