Good morning Owners,
A general reminder that the Settlers Walk 2025 annual assessment is due by Friday, January 31, 2025.
However, if you've already paid the annual assessment for 2025,
please disregard this message.
If the payment doesn't post to the ledger by 1/31/2025, a late assessment of $100 will be added to the account on 2/1/2025.
If you are in a neighborhood with a separate assessment and that payment doesn't post to that account by 1/31/2025, a late fee of $100 will be assessed to that account as well on 2/1/2025.
Late fees will not be waived.
Some frequently asked questions/answers:
Q: Does the postmark count if it’s dated on or before 1/31/2025?
A: No, the payment must post to the ledger by 1/31/2025 or a $100 late fee will be assessed to the account on 2/1/2025.
Q: My checks haven’t cleared my bank. What do I do?
A: Online payment options are available, but please note, it can take 24-72 business hours for even an electronic payment to post to the ledger. If the payment doesn't post to the ledger by 1/31/2025, a late fee of $100 will be assessed to the account on 2/1/2025.
Q: Can I drop a check to your office?
A: No, we don’t process checks; any checks delivered to our office will incur a $10 check processing fee and your payment will still be delayed, as we have to send it to Alliance Bank, just as you would have. Dropping a check to our office does not count as “on time”, as the payment must post to the ledger by 1/31/2025. If your payment doesn't post to the ledger by 1/31/2025, a late fee of $100 will be assessed to the account on 2/1/2025.
Q: Can I make a payment over the phone?
A: NO, we don't take payments over the phone.
