Today, Sir Knights of the Assembly retrieved the flag for brother Joe Lyons and posted the flag for Fr. James Manning after the 11 o’clock mass at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Springboro, Ohio. The flag in honor of father Manning will fly until November.

Assembly 3188 honored our Brother Sir Knight, Father Kraig Gruss, at his First Mass celebrated at Holy Trinity in Coldwater, Ohio on May 17th and a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated at Our Lady of Good Hope in Miamisburg on May 23rd. Father Gruss came into the 4th Degree with Assembly 3188 while serving as a Seminarian Intern at the Saint John Paul II Parish Family. Father Gruss was ordained to the priesthood along with 8 other men on May 16, 2026 by Archbishop Robert Casey at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Peter in Chains in Cincinnati.

Dan Reddens of Knights of Columbus Assembly 3188 from St. Mary's Church in Springboro presented a check for $500 for the Vietnam Veterans Remembrance Memorial to Mayor John Agenbroad, Council member Jerry Ferris and City Manager Chris Pozzuto at last evening's City Council meeting. The memorial, set to start construction soon at Gardner Park, is being funded through private donations.
