📚❤️ WOW! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we are proud to announce that we were able to donate 1,313 books to Children's Books on Wheels!

Every book donated represents an opportunity to inspire a child, encourage literacy, and open the door to a brighter future. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our residents, local businesses, and community partners who answered the call to give back.

From all of us at Montgomery County ESD #4 / Needham Fire Rescue, thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of children throughout our community.

🎒 And we’re not done yet! Stay tuned for details on our Annual School Supplies Drive, which kicks off next month. We look forward to once again partnering with our amazing community to help local students start the school year prepared for success

Large book donation pickup in Montgomery today 📚

Lone Star Book Rescue helped pick up around 75 boxes of books from the Montgomery, TX area today. What started as a smaller pickup turned into a much larger boxed collection, but we were able to get the books loaded, moved, and brought into our sorting process so usable books can be rehomed back into the community.

We help with book donation pickup in Montgomery, Willis, Conroe, The Woodlands, and surrounding Montgomery County areas when the quantity, location, and condition are a good fit.

Best fit pickups include home libraries, estate cleanouts, downsizing projects, office books, textbooks, nonfiction, religious books, professional books, and clean boxed collections.

Thank you to UH Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for reaching out!

A few days ago, Lone Star Book Rescue picked up around 20 boxes of books from the University of Houston. We appreciate the opportunity to help these books get reused, rehomed, and kept out of the waste stream.

We help with book donation pickups in Houston, Conroe, The Woodlands, Willis, Montgomery County, and surrounding areas, especially for offices, schools, campus departments, home libraries, estate cleanouts, and downsizing projects.

75 Boxes Of Books In One SUV After My Trailer Lights Failed

Trailer lights went out before a Montgomery, TX book pickup, so I had to use the SUV and make 3 trips instead. The Meta Ray-Bans fogged up from the Texas humidity after the rain, so the video is blurry at first, but the books still made it back to storage.

Clearing out a storage unit full of books today! Lone Star Book Rescue helps with book donation pickup in Conroe, Willis, Montgomery, The Woodlands, and Montgomery County for larger cleanouts, moving jobs, estate cleanouts, downsizing, garage cleanouts, and storage unit cleanouts.

Even on a rainy day, good books deserve a second life. We kept these books dry and restocked a local Little Free Library for the community in The Woodlands.
