“Currently we have only one incubator.” 💬 NICU Director Tobias shares his needs with Dr. Monique

At Sinje Hospital in Liberia, Tobias and his team work hard every day to care for premature babies with extremely limited resources. As the only NICU in the county, they urgently need incubators, radiant warmers, oxygen concentrators, and medication to properly care for these newborns.

This NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at Sinje Hospital in Liberia is the only one in a county of 180,000 people 🧑‍🍼

General Practitioner Tobias chats with Dr. Monique about the importance of having on-site water.
“IPC” stands for Infection Prevention and Control. Right now, the NICU has no reliable source of clean water. The staff must walk 10 minutes to hand pump the water at a well and carry it back to the hospital.

Revitalization is happening as we speak at Klay Clinic! We’re so excited to see the progress being made. Having an on-site ER will allow the medical staff to efficiently treat urgent cases of malaria, injuries, and more. More space and more resources will bring better medical care to this community.

The power of giving 💙 From one school to another 🤝

Thanks to Keystone School in San Antonio, Namutamba Demonstration School in Uganda received much needed medical supplies for their students. Keystone raised the necessary funds and the staff of Namutamba Health Center 3 distributed 138 mosquito nets, treated 32 children for malaria and provided deworming meds for 623 students!

Malaria is a serious problem in Uganda. Half of all the patients seen at Namutamba Health Center are treated for malaria. These mosquito nets will help lower that number.

Keystone students took the initiative to hold a fundraiser selling boba tea during their lunch hour. They made posters to spread the word and raised $800. After a Keystone family matched that, it only took one week for the supplies to be delivered to Uganda.

HUGE milestone reached! 🥳 Our first year of revitalizing Namutamba Clinic in Uganda is in the books!

We are so proud to see the ways this clinic has made strides towards revitalization in the past year. Medication is stocked, staff salaries are paid, the clinic has indoor running water, and the community is greatly benefiting! The clinic just recently finished construction of a new septic tank pit as well.

Klay Clinic Celebrates the Gift of Clean Water 🎉🚰

Thanks to your incredible generosity, funding is now secured for the Klay Clinic water well, and planning and preparations are underway.  Drilling will soon begin, stay tuned for updates!

To celebrate, the entire community of Klay gathered in prayer to dedicate the water tower and the upcoming construction - a meaningful time of excitement, hope, and gratitude for the transformation this water well will bring!
