Piney Woods Wildlife Society

Piney Woods Wildlife Society The nature club of N Harris County and S Montgomery County that was formed in 1981 & disbanded in 2024 with our last nature program in 12/2023.

Now just this page remains where nature, bird and science topics are shared here by Claire Moore. Piney Woods Wildlife Society was a 501c3 non-profit group of bird and nature lovers that met monthly to hear a program about a bird or nature topic. This society began in 1981 and was disbanded in January of 2024. This page remains as a place for nature, bird and science articles to

be shared. We also share information on free bird walks in the Greater Houston area -- see the featured post for that information.
