16 Days of Activism against Gender-based

UN Women kicked off a UN-wide annual campaign on 25 November, the International Day to End Violence against Women, followed by 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

The turnaway rate for shelters is 75%. One of the many reasons women do not leave from an abusive situation is that they have nowhere to go. Help us provide a safe haven for women and children.

"I am a retired L.A. County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective after serving 32 years in Los Angeles County from 1985 to 2017. My first book, Black, White, and Gray All Over is a memoir and the recipient of 22 book awards, including the winner of Hope Pyx Global's International Books Awards Global 2022. The Hope Pyx Global's award is the most meaningful award to me, because of what the organization stands for. This award inspired me to write my second book, Saint Bloodbath. I have witnessed far too many victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and child neglect over my lifetime, both personally and professionally. My thanks to Hope Pyx Global!
