Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club had a blast Saturday night at Community Fieldhouse!!! We took time out to build as a club and take part in a nice competitive and fun game of volleyball!! It’s always great to take a little time away from great speeches just to enjoy life a bit with your awesome club members!!!

This past Wednesday night Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club had our Club Contest to determine who would move on to the next level of the Yearly Toastmasters Speech Competition. This is the start of deciding who eventually goes on to compete at the International level next year.

The winners were John for International Speech and Syed for Evaluation 🏆 They will move on to our Area Level Competition which is November 8th staring at 9 am (be there early, no one is allowed in and out once the speeches begin) at Sam Houston University, The Woodlands Campus located at 3380 College Park Drive, The Woodlands TX 77384.

Congratulations to our winners! We hope to see you move on to the next level!

Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club had a great meeting Wednesday night! We heard from one of our longtime members with a great speech as usual! We love to support one another in each other's growth! 📈🪴

Next week, October 29th we have our Club Contest where we compete for entrance into the District Contest and beyond where Toastmasters members compete to get to the International Speech Contest! We'd love to have you join us to see what it's all about.

We had such a great meeting this past Wednesday ✨ We had two of our newer members give us two great speeches. Victor gave us a fun persuasive speech about the benefits of playing board games. It made us all want to go home and have a board game night!
Our member Lea gave us her Icebreaker speech, the first speech a Toastmaster gives. She started out by setting the scene of her speech by playing us Silent Night. It only got better from there. Two great speeches! 🙌🏽

We have such a great group and everyone looks forward to the meeting each week to grow and support each other while leaving with an inspiring thought or two from other members each week.

Another great meeting in the books with Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club We heard from one of our most motivating members Jamie about having the courage, resilience and drive to push yourself out of your struggles! He truly had a great speech! We look forward to hearing more from him.

We also celebrated having 25 members who are active and making progress on their goals with Toastmasters. We welcomed back someone who used to be a member years ago, took a hiatus and now he's back! So happy to see him. We had another one of our guests join us well. We're a growing, successful, supportive group who would love to have you stop by and see what we're all about.

We had a fantastic meeting, it was a busy night at Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club! We enjoyed a speech from one of our members who joins us on Zoom from out of state, Brandon! He shared with us his experience in his Concert Band and told us many of his favorite pieces he enjoys! We had a great time laughing with Syed who made us all laugh (whether we wanted to or not 😂) with his table topics speech! We learned from him that laughing releases endorphins and the body can't tell if it's real or fake laughter. So if you need a pick me up during the day, just start laughing away!

Our Area Director attended last night to help with our new officer installation, our officers hold their term for six months with duties ranging from Sargent of Arms, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations, Membership, Education and of course our Club President! Congratulations to all the new and returning officers who help make the club run smoothly.

We ended the night with the new members who have joined since last terms inductions being recognized and a celebration of a couple members birthdays! We love the support and camraderie we give each other and would love for you to join in on the fun!

Last night's meeting was a huge success at Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club! We had one of our newer members, Victor, give their Ice Breaker speech (a Toastmasters first speech) and we learned a lot about him. He did a great job and we can't wait to hear more of his profound words! Another of our members Christine gave a heartfelt speech which touched a lot of people's hearts! What a great night for all of us.

The best thing about our group is that we support each other! We give great feedback to both give confidence and congratulate them on their speeches while letting them know how they can improve on future speeches.

We had three guests last night and we hope to see them at future meetings! 🙌🏽 We are a President's Distinguished Club and will remain so and achieve beyond as we continue to grow our membership!

We had a very successful meeting Wednesday night with our President's Distinguished Toastmasters Club Successfully Speaking Toastmasters Club 🗣️ Our newest Member Jamie gave his first speech and did amazing! We also heard another astounding speech by our longterm member Luis! Our club is great at supporting other members and helping each other achieve our goals! 📈

We had two guests visit who we hope to see again next week! As Luis said in his speech, Toastmasters is where you come to grow into who you want to become 🙌🏽✨
