📣 KO FFA SEPTEMBER REMINDERS! 💙💛
September is a BUSY month for KO FFA! Here are some important dates and deadlines to keep on your radar:
💰 VERTICAL RAISE
Our Vertical Raise fundraiser is underway! Check out the Flyer for more information on how you can support the Klein Oak FFA through our fundraiser. Every donation and/or purchase helps our chapter continue providing opportunities for our members!
🐄 KLEIN SHOW ENTRY FORMS
If you are planning to show at the Klein ISD Livestock & Project Show, make sure you complete your entry paperwork!
➡️ Don’t forget to take care of your Show Association Shirt and Show Association Sign as well! These are optional purchases; the shirts are Klein Show Association Shirts, and the signs line up the driveway into the KMPC. You will receive a show shirt from the chapter and a sign that hangs on your animal’s pen.
🌱 GREENHAND CAMPS
If your student signed up for Greenhand Camp, make sure you have the correct date on your calendar!
💙 KO FFA Greenhand Camp: September 8 - After School in the Ag Shop
💛 Area 3 Greenhand Camp: September 17 - During School at Gerald D Young in Katy
💙 District Greenhand Camp: September 22 - Leaving during 7th period to Tomball High School
💵 KO FFA PAYMENT DAY — SEPTEMBER 11
Payment Day will take place during all Ag classes!
Students should bring their completed Green Sheet AND payment with them.
🐖 KLEIN SHOW PAYMENT DAY — SEPTEMBER 12
📍 KMPC
This is the day to take care of your Klein Show animal/project payments. Make sure you come prepared with all required paperwork and payment!

📣 KISD FFA Livestock & Project Show Parents — We’d love to see you!

Join us for our next KISD FFA Livestock & Project Show Committee Meeting on Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 PM at KMPC.

There’s a lot happening as we prepare for another great show season! We’ll be:

⭐ Voting for our 2027–2028 Show Secretary
⭐ Voting on proposed bylaw changes
🎟️ Discussing raffle ticket sales
🐑 Going over the upcoming Group Buy
🤝 Talking about volunteer opportunities
📋 Sharing other important show updates and upcoming plans

Our Show Committee is entirely parent-volunteer led, and there are lots of ways to be involved—big or small. Coming to a meeting doesn’t mean you’re signing up to volunteer! It’s also a great way to stay informed, meet other show families, share ideas, and learn more about everything that goes into making this event possible for our students.

Whether you have an hour to give, an idea to share, or you simply want to know what’s going on—we’d love to have you there. 💙💛

We are so excited to be back on campus, so we wanted to introduce our members for the 2026-2027 Judging season!

MEET THE TEAM | Elizabeth Gaus-Schmidt - President

Meet our President, Elizabeth Gaus-Schmidt! Elizabeth is a senior studying animal science from Tomball, TX!

It is Elizabeth’s 3rd year on the team and through horse judging, she has loved making connections within the industry and the opportunities it gives her to learn from industry professionals.

After graduation, Elizabeth hopes to attend Veterinary school and become a Food Animal Veterinarian.

A fun fact about Elizabeth is that she can play 5 instruments and was in a mariachi band for 4 years!

We are so grateful to have Elizabeth as our President and a member of our team!!
