We Love Our Principal, Joel Tropp! Join the PTSA to Support Our Students, Teachers, and Community

Our principal, Joel Tropp, is a huge supporter of our PTSA, always working alongside us to benefit our students and community.

By joining our PTSA and attending monthly meetings, you'll stay informed about important updates that affect our school, students, and community, and discover valuable resources for our kids.

Our PTSA not only funds concession stand snacks, with a portion of proceeds supporting Monte Vista sports teams, but we also provide breakfast for teacher appreciation and snacks for students during testing weeks.

Plus, we award scholarships to seniors every year! Join us and help make a difference!

Monte Vista’s Key Club (several of whom are MV cheerleaders) helped PTSA distribute 300 boxes of non-perishable food today to help households totaling 280 people in our community.

PTSA gives a shoutout to Spring Valley Kiwanis (Key Club’s sponsor) for showing up to help, too!

Thanks to PTSA’s partnership with the San Diego Food Bank and Sysco Food, we are able to distribute 300 boxes of non-perishable food every month on the 2nd Saturdays (9:30-11am) at Monte Vista’s parking lot.

Free boxes of non-perishable food will be distributed this Saturday, March 12 (9:30am - 11am) at the "bus loop" -- the parking lot between the main lot and the north lot -- at Monte Vista High School, 3230 Sweetwater Springs Blvd.
