Meet our Strut for Sobriety Honorary Chair, Salijo Hendershaw!
Salijo Hendershaw is a native San Diegan and respected business leader who successfully owned and operated Alioto Hendershaw Graphic Design in Rancho Bernardo for more than 20 years. Throughout her career, she earned a reputation for creativity, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence while serving clients across the region. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Salijo is a devoted mother of two and considers her family her greatest achievement. She has always valued the relationships and connections that strengthen communities, balancing entrepreneurship with a deep commitment to family, service, and community involvement.
Salijo is a passionate supporter of A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment & Healing) and its mission to promote hope, healing, and recovery. Having witnessed firsthand the profound impact that substance use disorders can have on individuals and their loved ones, she is dedicated to advancing compassionate approaches that emphasize education, support, recovery, and reducing stigma. She believes that every person and family affected by addiction deserves access to resources, understanding, and the opportunity to heal.
Salijo is proud to stand alongside A New PATH in celebrating 22 years of advocacy, recovery, and community support. She extends her heartfelt gratitude to everyone participating, volunteering, and supporting this important event—both near and far. Together, we can continue to strengthen our commitment to helping individuals and families throughout San Diego find hope, healing, and a path forward.
