THANK YOU Kingsland elementary students for your fantastic food donation of 804 # collected during your point challenge to help the foodshelf 🤩.
Congratulations to Mrs.Holmens first grade class for winning the challenge! How delightful to see a bus filled with food and this class help deliver it. The teamwork you demonstrated while taking all the food off the bus was phenomenal and your generosity is greatly appreciated! 🤩

A huge shout out and thank you to the Key Club for this very generous donation 🤩. It’s amazing to watch our community take care of each other 🥰.

The foodshelf is open tomorrow from 2-4pm for those in need.

The Kingsland Key Club held a food drive at Sunshine Foods in Spring Valley this past weekend. They were able to collect over 70 pounds of food, and monetary donations totaling $416.65. Key Club member, Jaelee Hagstrom, presented the donations to Maureen Johnson of the Spring Valley Area Food Shelf. Thank You to everyone for supporting our local Key Club with this project.

Key Club is a Kiwanis sponsored youth group of High School students that focuses on volunteering and fundraising within their community. They do ditch cleanup, host Red Cross Blood Drives, make tie blankets to be donated to organizations in need, shop for kids through Christmas in Fillmore County, ring the Salvation Army bell, sell Kiwanis roses to fund college scholarships, run games at the annual Halloween Party, and so much more.
