Next up for our senior spotlight is Kelci!! congratulations Kelci we wish you a beautiful and magical journey ahead!
1.Now that I’ve graduated I’m excited to have the opportunity to embark on a new journey with aspirations of joining the Disney on Ice team. It would be a dream come true to travel and share my love for skating with people around the world!
2.Wow, what a question! Skating has been my passion since I was five years old, and has given me so many memories that I will cherish forever. From the excitement of landing my first ever axel, To the nerve-wracking and exhilarating competitions, where my family and friends were always there to watch and cheer me on. I’ve had so much support and love from so many people around me.
That being said I think some of my best memories come from when I was on the Las Vegas Ice Theatre team! There’s nothing quite like being on the ice with your skating family and getting the incredible opportunity to compete at nationals! There are so many core memories and small moments that will forever hold a special place in my heart. It’s been a Journey!
3. There’s so much that I could say. Skating is so different for each individual person and everyone has their own stories, challenges, and triumphs. It’s important to always acknowledge every skaters hard work and allow them to inspire you! Always strive for your best and know that your best won’t look the same every day, and that’s okay! It can feel like sometimes you’re skating through a thunderstorm, while other days it’s perfect and sunny and everything seems so easy. But don’t give up, you can weather through those storms and when you do you’ll come out even stronger. Look forward to those sunny days, skating is unlike anything else so enjoy every moment out there.
