We are 8 days away!

On October 3, we’re bringing together an incredible group of people for HEY Operation’s first ever gala, The Power of One.

And we planned a NIGHT.

🥂 Hosted bar
🎻 Live violinist
✨ Roaming magician
🍽️ Plated dinner
🎤 Inspiring speakers Jonny Mansour and Ian Kowasch
🎙️ Richard Bailey, former Mayor of Coronado, as our emcee
🏀 Silent auction featuring a signed Kobe Bryant jersey and incredible sports memorabilia
🇬🇷 Greek Island getaway
🌴 Hawaii escape
🎟️ Grand prize raffle
💰 50/50 game
🌃 One of the best views of San Diego

But the most important part of the evening is why we’re coming together.

For more than a decade, HEY Operation has worked to remind foster and displaced youth that they are seen, valued and cared for.

Sometimes one person showing up can change the direction of someone’s life.

That is The Power of One.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, this is your sign. Grab your friends, make it a date night, bring your coworkers, or get a table together.

Dreaming of Greece? 🇬🇷✨

One of our silent auction highlights at The Power of One Gala is a Greek Island getaway. Think blue water, whitewashed villages, unforgettable sunsets, and the chance to turn “Greek Island Dreaming” into an actual trip.

You’ll have the opportunity to bid on this experience only at the gala, along with some other incredible silent auction items throughout the evening.

And the best part? Every bid helps HEY Operation continue supporting foster and displaced youth and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

We’re excited to have Richard Bailey as the Emcee of The Power of One Gala! ✨

Richard will guide us through an evening dedicated to something we believe deeply at HEY Operation: one person has the power to make a difference.

On October 3, we’ll come together overlooking the San Diego skyline to celebrate the people who have helped HEY Operation serve more than 30,000 children, and to help make what comes next possible.

We’re so grateful to have Richard joining us for this milestone evening and can’t wait to share everything we have planned.

This is why.

Before The Power of One was a gala, it was a belief.

That one person choosing to show up can make a difference in a child’s life.

Since 2012, thousands of people have shown up for HEY Operation: volunteering, donating, giving gifts, opening doors and helping us reach more than 30,000 children.

On October 3, we’re bringing that community together for the first time at The Power of One.

Not simply to celebrate how far we’ve come, but to help us write what comes next.

One person. One decision. One act of kindness.

That’s where change begins.

This year, we showed up for foster and displaced youth who deserve to feel seen, loved, and supported. Because even when life feels overwhelming, there are children who need us to keep going.

To every volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter, thank you for choosing compassion, generosity, and community. You made this impact possible.

As we close out 2025, we’re reminded that what truly matters is how we show up for others.
