It is with great sadness that one of our own, our best friend. Mom, Sister, daughter, niece, and friend, Jodi Haus passed away suddenly. Her great passion was the ponies and Oliver. We love and miss you so much Jodi!! ❤️

Jodi Rae Haus (Wahlquist)
09/12/1971 – 08/28/2023

Jodi Rae Haus (Wahlquist), 51 of Blaine, Minnesota passed away suddenly August 28, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in C**n Rapids, Mn. surrounded by family and friends.

Jodi was born September 12, 1971, in Minneapolis Minnesota. Along with her parents Eric and Marla Wahlquist, Jodi spent her early years in New Hope, and Brooklyn Park, then moving to Maple Grove, Mn. at the age of 11. Jodi had many adventures with her sisters Lori and Kati where they enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling on family trips. Jodi graduated from Osseo High School in 1990 and went on to college at Mankato State and later transferring to St Cloud State where she graduated with a degree in Social Work in 1996.

Shortly after college Jodi met Michael Haus and they were wed in 1998. Together they had three beautiful children, Mason, Jett, and Brooklyn.

Jodi worked at a variety of locations including The State of Minnesota as a Senior Human Services Licenser. Golden Living as the Directory of Mental Health and Social Services, ran a daycare with her sister Lori, HIRED corp. as a Senior Employment Counselor. Early jobs included restaurant worker, car wash employee, and service and car runner at a local car dealer. Jodi was actively involved in the family Junebug Animal Hugs non-profit with her two sisters Lori, Kati, and her nieces and nephews. Jodi was our horse lover who took great pride in the three ponies and the miniature donkey. Jodi was an advocate for every person she worked for and with, improving the lives of thousands of people over her career.

Jodi was an avid lover of True Crime shows and podcasts. She loved to read and was known to reread her favorite book “The Book Thief” yearly. Jodi was known to do TikTok dances with her kids. She loved Old Dominion, Maroon 5 and of course Hall and Oates “Rich Girl”. Jodi loved to try new crafts as well as beading and spending time with her beloved dog Bentley.

Jodi was a joy to everyone she met. Once you were in her life, you were there for good. Jodi was the sister and friend who always had advice and hugs. She always carried her giant handbags and sported her chunky watches. She spoke daily of her love for her children.

Jodi is lovingly survived by her children Mason Haus, Jett Haus (Kayla), Brooke Haus (Anderson); sisters Lori (Pete) Kosek, their children Chris, Nick, and Zach; Kati Wahlquist and her child Lili, her dad Eric Wahlquist; her dog Bentley; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jodi proceeded in death by her mother Marla Wahlquist; her niece June Rudd; Grandparents Kermit and Margery Wahlquist; and grandparents Pap and Beverly McVay.
