Want to take a couple young anglers fishing this summer and have some fun with FAM on East Rush Lake?

On Sunday July 19th Future Anglers of Minnesota is looking for volunteer boat captains to launch at Flickabirds Resort at 9:00 am. Boat captains will take (2) young anglers fishing until about 12:00, then back to Flickabirds for some prizes and celebrations!

If you're interested in volunteering please email [email protected] and tell us you're interested in going fishing on Sunday July 19th!

Future Anglers of Minnesota clinic yesterday at the Pine River Walleye Trap with the Minnesota DNR! 🎣💙
A huge thank you to all the kids who came out ready to learn, explore, and get excited about fishing! They had the amazing opportunity to see the walleye spawning process up close from egg collection to learning how they are taken to the hatchery to help stock our lakes for future generations.

Every child left with the tools they need to start fishing on their own, and that’s what this mission is all about creating confident young anglers and teaching them to become great stewards of our lakes and natural resources.
We truly couldn’t make events like this happen without our incredible sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of Minnesota anglers!

What an incredible clinic today in Pine River! 🎣💙

A huge thank you to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for hosting our Future Anglers of Minnesota group. The kids had the amazing opportunity to watch the entire walleye spawning process from seeing the fish stripped of their eggs and milt to learning how they are brought to the hatchery to help stock our lakes for future generations.

Experiences like this help our young anglers understand the importance of conservation, stewardship, and protecting Minnesota’s incredible fishing resources.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this that inspire the next generation to love and respect the outdoors! 🐟🙌
