🇺🇸 Support Wreaths Across America at the Anderson Creek Clubhouse! 🇺🇸

The Anderson Creek Lions Club invites you to support the Wreaths Across America - Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake NC in honoring our local fallen heroes! Representatives will be set up at the Anderson Creek Clubhouse to accept wreath sponsorships and sell raffle entries.

📅 Dates: Saturday, October 10th | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday, October 17th | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

🎟️ How You Can Support:

Wreath Sponsorships ($17 Donation = 1 Wreath):A $17 donation sponsors 1 wreath to be placed on a veteran’s grave at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery during the wreath placement ceremony on December 19, 2026. Help us keep their legacy alive and ensure every hero is remembered.

Fundraiser Raffle #1: CES-9 Cajun Express Smoker ($10 Donation = 1 Entry): Enter for a chance to win a CES-9 Cajun Express Smoker! Drawing will take place on December 19.

Fundraiser Raffle #2: M&P FPC® .40 S&W ($10 Donation = 1 Entry): Enter for a chance to win an M&P FPC® .40 S&W! Drawing will take place on December 19.

Stop by the clubhouse on either Saturday to purchase your wreath donations and raffle tickets! Every contribution helps us remember the fallen, honor their service, and teach the next generation.

Our golf tournament is a little over 2 weeks away, so this is an important meeting. We hope to see you there.

Anderson Creek, just look at those sweet faces on our progress tracker! Thanks to your amazing support, we’ve already delivered over 165 lbs of food and supplies to the Harnett County Animal Shelter.

These shelter animals rely on our community every day for nourishing meals, comforting toys, and clean, safe kennels while they wait for their forever homes. They are looking to us for help—and as the Anderson Creek Lions Club, we are looking to YOU to help us keep this incredible momentum going!

🚀 NEXT MISSION: CRUSH OUR 250 LB GOAL!We’ve officially passed 165 lbs, but let’s not just hit our next target of 250 lbs over the next two weeks—let's exceed it!

🎉 WE CRUSHED IT! OVER 165 LBS DONATED TO Harnett County Animal Shelter! 🐾❤️

Anderson Creek, your generosity is absolutely incredible! Thanks to this amazing community, we didn’t just hit our 100 lb goal—we blew past it and delivered over 165 lbs of food and supplies directly to the Harnett County Animal Shelter. 🐶 🐱

Because of you, shelter pets have full bellies, toys to play with, and fresh supplies. But we’re just getting started!

🎯 NEXT GOAL: 250 LBS IN 2 WEEKS!
We are keeping the momentum going! Our next milestone is to reach at least 250 lbs total over the next two weeks.

🌟 THE BIG VISION: 1,000 LBS BY JUNE 15, 2027
Our long-term club mission for the Anderson Creek Lions Club is to collect and donate over 1,000 lbs of food and essential supplies to county animal shelters by June 15, 2027. Every single bag, can, or paper towel roll gets us closer to this goal!

Anderson Creek, you are amazing! We started collecting less than a week ago for the Anderson Creek Lions Club Pet Food Drive, and thanks to your generosity, we’ve already passed 50 lbs of dog and cat food, along with toys and gently used leashes!

Now we're pushing to hit 100 lbs of total donations by this Friday, and all donations go directly to support Harnett County Animal Shelters!

A massive shoutout and thank you to Bobbi Younker for being the very first to donate to our Anderson Creek Lions Club Pet Food & Pet Supply Drive! 🦁❤️

Bobbie blew us away with a generous drop-off to kick off our year-long campaign, including:

🐾 A bag of Blue Buffalo True Solutions Digestive Care dry dog food
🧸 A box packed full of plush dog toys, squeakers, chew toys, and harnesses

Her donation is heading straight to Harnett County Animal Shelters to help local pets in need!

Hello Lions,

District 31-N is launching a year-long Pet Food & Pet Supply Drive running from September through June, and our Anderson Creek Lions Club is jumping in to support our local animal shelters and rescues!

We will be collecting:

Dry and canned dog & cat food
Pet treats and toys
Collars, leashes, and general care supplies

I ​w​ill serve as the point of contact for our club for this service project. As you gather or receive donated items, please bring them to me directly or coordinate with me for drop-off, and I will keep track of our total contributions to report back to the district.

If you know of any local businesses willing to host a collection bin, let me know—we have store flyers and letters ready to go to help set those up.
