DON'T MISS THE CENTRAL MINNESOTA FALL CAMPOREE!
September 18-20, 2026, Parker Scout Reservation, Nisswa, MN

Will you be able to survive the Scout Story Challenge? Are you ready to put your Scout skills to the test? It's time to see if you can outlast your fellow Scouts at this year"s Camporee! Please join us as the Central Minnesota Council hosts its Fall Camporee on Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20 at Parker Scout Reservation, 21930 Paradise Drive North in Nisswa, Minnesota.

Reach for the sky, Patrols and Crews! You're about to step into a classic adventure turned full-scale Scout wilderness mission. The mission includes your Patrol or Crew embarking on an epic backyard expedition, following in the footsteps of Andy’s most trusted toys on a high-stakes rescue run. Your Patrol or Crew will haul a custom "Toy Box" loaded with gear across a rugged outdoor gauntlet, navigating wild terrain to rescue Woody and Buzz before "moving day" runs out of time.

o Create a "toy box" to use to haul your gear. Dress as your favorite "Toy Story" characters to earn extra pizza slices.
o Units are responsible to bring all camping and cooking gear including tents and all food and food prep necessities.
o Units will be assigned a camp site per size and type of Unit, some Units may be sharing a campsite with other Units.

Along the expedition trail, your group will encounter themed stations designed to test your Scouting knowledge, teamwork, and resourcefulness based on the characters in “Toy Story” -- master fire-building at Slinky Dog’s Campfire, navigate hazardous water crossings at Al’s Toy Barn, test your marksmanship at Bullseye’s Target Range just to name a few. Throughout the day you can earn, trade, and spend pizza slices at the Pizza Planet. Strategic spending gives your Patrol or Crew crucial gameplay advantages at difficult stations. Keep your eyes peeled on the trail. Sid and his unforeseen obstacles can cost your team hard-earned pizza slices if your Scouts aren't vigilant. The events will be competitive and there will be prizes!!

Gather your group, map out your strategy, and keep your communication sharp. Hoarding your stash won't get you to the finish line -- you can't win if you sit on your pizza slices. Victory belongs to the Scouts who invest their resources wisely to overcome the hardest stations. Gear up, pack the Toy Box, and take your Patrol to infinity and beyond! May the best Patrol or Crew triumph!

COST:
o FREE for all registered Scouts or Scouters if registering by Septtember 11.
o $40.00 per youth and $10.00 per adult if registered starting September 12.

DON'T MISS THE 2027 NORTHERN STAR INTERNATIONAL CAMPOREE!
May 14 - 16, 2027, Phillippo Scout Camp, Cannon Falls, MN

MARK YOUR CALENDAR TODAY!!! Scouts won’t have to travel overseas to experience the excitement of World Scouting. From Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16, 2027, Camp Phillippo, located at 30654 32nd Avenue Way in Cannon Falls, Minnesota will transform into a global village for Northern Star Council's International Camporee. While not every Scout can attend the World Jamboree in Poland, every Scout is invited to discover the spirit of international Scouting here at home.

Throughout the weekend, Scouts will take part in games, activities, and hands-on adventures designed to explore what World Scouting is all about. Each Troop will represent a different country’s contingent, filling the camp with international spirit. Scouts will even have the opportunity to connect with others around the globe through radio and internet communications.

The camporee will also introduce Scouts and leaders to World Scouting opportunities beyond the weekend, including programs they can participate in from home, ways to attend another country’s Jamboree, and international Scouting humanitarian projects that support Scouts around the world.

This Camporee is designed to launch Troops into a wider world of Scouting and inspire them to see themselves as part of a global movement. More details will be shared in early 2027, but Troops and families are encouraged to save the date now: May 14-16, 2027.

Scouts BSA Summer Camp Orientation Day

Make the most of your summer camp experience by attending the Summer Camp Orientation for Many Point and Tomahawk Scout Camps. This event will be hosted at Base Camp and online on March 7.

Totanhan Nakaha is looking for a new logo to be used across our social media, lodge merchandise, and to further develop our brand. The Lodge Executive Committee is excited to announce a logo competition where we invite Arrowmen under the age of 21 Years to submit logo ideas. In order to have a strong logo, we have put together a list of requirements and guidelines:

● Our lodge totem, the mighty moose
● Cannot be A.I. generated, must be hand-drawn or designed in a software
● Cannot use TNL abbreviation, if using lodge name it must be fully spelled out
● Use of “16” and “Totanhan Nakaha” are optional
● Some of the best logos convey significance without text. Think Pepsi, Centennial logo, Nike, etc
● If using OA arrowhead, there cannot be anything superimposed on the arrowhead
● Must be legible if using text when scaled to 2-3 inches
● Do not put WWW on the logo
● Does not have to be complete or professional artwork, if your idea is chosen it will be redrawn by our designers

When you have completed your idea:
● Submit by January 15th
● Submit an image via Email to [email protected]
● Multiple images per person are allowed
● Images can be in png, jpeg, gif or pdf format
