Greetings, UAW Ryder Family.
I want to take a moment to remember our American Veteran's.
This coming Monday is Memorial Day. May 25th. I want to thank all of you who sacrificed for our Country. I tell this to every new hire class that comes through my UAW orientation class, "When you give your time, you are giving a piece of your life that you will never get back." This is true, you are sacrificing of yourself.
I want you to know I don't take this lightly. Time is the most valuable commodity, once it is gone, you can't get it back. Thank you. Thank you from the depths of my soul, for all that you have done. I want to honor ALL of you. You ARE and will ALWAYS be HEROS to me.
God Bless You for keeping us all safe, keeping our country safe and secure. Thank You All for fighting for the United States of America.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.

I have been asked to address the accidents and spills. Also to address the Health and Safety concerns of us all.
There have been many of these accidents and spills over the last week or so. Please be mindful of your surroundings and mindful of the product you are moving. Be careful out there. Those parts have to make it to the line. You are the movers and shakers of those parts, so show our customer that we are the best at what we do. Show them that we are Ryder. The backbone of this company.
I am concerned about your health and your safety, wanting you to go home the way you came to work. Please, wear your PPE. Those glasses to protect your eyes, those steel toed shoes to protect your feet. Also, those Bright vests, so that you stand out from all the rest. Because we ARE Ryder. We are the BEST!!!

After a meeting between the Union and the Company, for those who are currently working and will be going on layoff during April 13th 2026 to May 11th 2026, the Company has agreed to pay for medical benefits during this.

For those who have been gone since November 2025 and will be hopefully returning to work. Please watch your email, text messages and call from Ryder, calling you back with instructions and information.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.
Many of you have called and sent prayers. I thank each other you. I have been in the hospital. I suffered a stroke the 1st week back to work. It affected my whole left side. I'm in rehab right now. Keep me in your prayers. Also, there's many who say they can't reach the committee person. Make sure to request a call from your Manager. They are able to reach your Rep. Danny Conner, is your Ryder Shop Rep. For now. Rebecca Endsley, is your Representative for now. God bless and keep you all.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.

There have been many questions as to why there hasn't been a seniority list posted. The reason for this is we have had many of our Brothers and Sisters quit within the last 2 1/2 months.
HR has given me 3 different lists during that time.
I would also like to address the reason for the change in how the list was done to decide who is returning in January.
The contract from 2021 ~ Everyone was in workday as a material handler.
It was by seniority. If they were keeping 383, then they would layoff those on the seniority below 383.

The contract from 2024 ~ There are different classification now.
You are either a Team Lead ***(DTO or LMS)***
ARO ***(DTO or LMS)***
Material Handler 2 (Reach Truck/ Order Selector)
Material Handler 1 (Forklift/ Tugger Driver)
Warehouse Associate (Non-Mobile)
*** DTO *** ~ Dock to Operator
*** LMS *** ~ Logistics Material Services
This is how you are listed in Workday.

Now, according to the 2024 contract, first management canvased to see which individuals were willing to work January - May. Straight through, regardless of the shift and who wanted to take unemployment.
Second, it was broken down into buildings. GA
Body Shop
LOC
Railyard
Third, it was by Classification (Which I explained previously).
Fourth, it was by your Seniority

Once we return in January, will ask that the seniority list be posted.
I understand the concerns. The Bargaining Committee is working hard to make sure everything is being done by the Contract. You Elected us, Trust that we are doing everything we can.
I have some QR codes with sites for work. I will post these on here as soon as I can.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.

I want to inform every one of the latest update on the over payment of vacation payout from November 14th. 2025.
The Bargaining Committee met with Ryder Senior Director Mike Basnaw, Co-Senior Director David Matthews, Human Resources Head Manager Kim Wing, and Shuttle Head Manager, Tim Bastin on November 18th, 2025. After many discussions on the issue of the company taking back the over payment, which would have been for the months of November and December, the Company has agreed to only take back the over payment for December. They are not going to collect back the over payment for the month of November.
Here is the 2nd part to this, those who used all their vacation time, (like me), to cover the shutdowns that occurred through the year, the Bargaining Committee after much deliberation, decided that it is only fair that everyone have to the December month taken back by the Company. Therefore, those who used all their vacation time before November 14th, 2025, the Company will be take that payment back on November 28th. 2025.
Please, understand, it is only right that we all give back what we did not earn.
The over payment for December is the only month being subtracted from your pay.
According to the contract, 1- 4 years is 6.67 hours
5-14 years is 10 hours
Instead of two months being taken out of your paycheck, only one month is being taken back.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.

I am aware of your concerns about the vacation payout. At this time, all I can tell you is that your Bargaining Committee has a meeting tomorrow morning to discuss this issue. I ask that you please calm down and allow us to intercede for you.
If anything, those of you who know how to pray, pray for your Bargaining Committee and pray for the Company. Ryder has given us a job to provide for our families. Let's not forget this in the heat of the moment. Just Breath. Please. I will post tomorrow the outcome of the meeting.

Greetings UAW Ryder Family.

These are the dates and times and information concerning the Mobile Food Drive and where it will be.

Everyone will be carded, you will have to show your Gold Union Card or ID. (You have to be a Union Member.
If you are helping to hand out food, then you cannot get a food box on that same day. You can sign up for a different day to receive a food box.
There will be to different site that will be posted so that you can either sign up to help, or you can sign up to receive.
You MUST sign up either way.

Dates and times are as follows:

December 5th, 2025
If you are signed up to help, you should arrive at the Union Hall at 7:30am
If you are signed up to receive, you should arrive at the Union Hall 9:00am

December 12th, 2025
If you are signed up to help, you should arrive at the Union Hall at 7:30am
If you are signed up to receive, you should arrive at the Union Hall at 9:00am

December 19th, 2025
If you are signed up to help, you should arrive at the Union Hall at 7:30am
If you are signed up to receive, you should arrive at the Union Hall at 9:00am
