Hello, I am sorry for my lack of activity lately. My family and I are relocating to eastern Kansas, which will serve as the base for the BAB USA-Great Plains Chapter instead of western Kansas. This change does not affect our service area, and we will continue to travel across Kansas. My objective is to recruit highly committed volunteers for BAB. BAB USA-Great Plains Chapter

Don’t just watch the bad happen, have courage to put yourself at risk for another! We need more people doing this.

This quote points out that the greatest threat to the world is not only the people who commit harmful acts, but also those who witness wrongdoing and choose to remain silent or inactive. Evil thrives when it is allowed to go unchallenged, and indifference can be just as damaging as the act itself. By doing nothing, bystanders enable injustice to spread, giving wrongdoers the freedom to continue without consequence. The quote is a call to moral responsibility—it reminds us that each person has a role to play in confronting and stopping harm. Courage, awareness, and action are essential to countering evil, and silence in the face of wrongdoing is a form of complicity. Ultimately, the message is that passivity sustains danger, while speaking out and taking action, even in small ways, is necessary to protect what is right.

Today's children are digital natives, having grown up with constant access to iPads, computers, and the Internet. Rather than criticizing their familiarity with technology, it is important to focus on educating them about safe and responsible digital practices. The following article shares good tips on how.

We all know kids and teens today spend a lot of time online, but that doesn't necessarily mean they know how to stay safe.

“Before school starts… just take 5 minutes.

Not to label supplies. Not to plan lunches.

But to talk.

Tell them it’s never okay to make fun of someone’s body, skin, clothes, or lunch.

Remind them not every kid has new shoes, a clean uniform, or someone waiting at home.

Let them know a quiet kid might be going through something big.

That school is for learning not judging.

That teasing isn’t harmless.

Just 5 minutes. That’s it.

Because the kind ones? They’re raised on purpose.

It starts with us.”
