Belize allows locals and guests to truly slow down, even when you’re driving around town.

You won’t find any traffic jams in Belize. (Wouldn’t that be nice here in the states!)

Most of the country’s roads are rural highways or scenic coastal routes.

You’re more likely to see a bicyclist or wildlife crossing over cars stopped because of traffic.

If you’re ever in Belize, keep your thumbs to yourself, because local folklore holds a story about a goblin who lacks thumbs and will steal yours if you encounter him!
