1. Why did you get involved with the ministry?
I got involved with The One Family Ministries because of its mission. This ministry gives the opportunity to be available to someone in a great time of need. As a Believer, I want to make sure that a person can feel the love that only God can offer during a difficult time in life. This type of love is the greatest hope for us all.
2. Why would you encourage others to get involved?
From scripture I understand that pure religion is caring for orphans and widows in their time of distress. I have found that there are many people that want to do just this, but lack the knowledge and confidence in the ways in which they can contribute to the kingdom of God. So for me directing that desire toward local ministry is very rewarding. I love when individuals, organizations and churches can not only share their resources, but get involved and make those connections with their neighbors. This is a win all around!
