Cub Scout Pack 417 is gearing up for 2026-2027, and there's still time for your family to join us! From camping under the stars at David Crockett State Park to blasting off model rockets with the Music City Missile Club, building lightning-fast cars for the Pinewood Derby, and even a trip to the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville — this pack knows how to have fun while teaching kids leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills that last a lifetime.

It's not too late to jump in! Reach out to us anytime to get your Scout signed up, or come check out our next Pack Meeting to see what we're all about. We're a welcoming group of families who believe in doing big things together, and we can't wait to meet you.

Hey everyone! There has been a miscommunication around Longview Elementary’s sign up night. Their sign up night is SEPTEMBER 17th, not August 17th.

With school starting it is time to kickoff another great year of scouting!

Come join Pack 417 at any of our 3 sign up nights:

Longview Elementary: September 17 @ 6:30pm

Amanda North Elementary: August 20 @ 6:30pm

Bethesda Elementary: August 27 @ 6:30pm

You are welcome even your child does not attend that elementary school.

Hello neighbors! We are in the middle of our annual fundraiser for next year selling “Adventure Cards”. These are $5 coupon cards that have multiple times that in value to area businesses. For instance, there is a $10 off purchase at Dicks. The Pack gets to keep half of all funds raised and your support goes toward our activities the following year. This can include pack gear, lowering dues, sponsoring scouts that might need assistance, and more.

We are setting up a table in front of the Lowe’s in Spring Hill this Saturday from 10am-2pm. If you are interested, please come see us. If you have any interest in scouting, we would love to talk to you about the program and see if you would like to join in the fall!

Scouting is one of the best programs for our kiddos to learn great life lessons and set them up for success. Our Pack mainly services Amanda North, Bethesda, and Longview Elementary schools but anyone is welcome to join. We welcome both boys and girls and are always looking for parent volunteers as well.

As we wrap up our spring campout, we wanted to shout out Ranger Rachel at David Crockett State Park for two awesome demonstrations! We had a snake demonstration in the morning and a black powder/history lesson in the afternoon!
