Hernando Beach Vision Statement

The Hernando Beach vision seeks to shape a future for our unique waterfront residential community that preserves and enhances its natural features, while providing services and amenities that are integral to a vibrant, healthy, and fun

lifestyle. Our vision celebrates nature's abundance on the "Adventure Coast" by preserving our peaceful “small town style” community and waterways while encouraging the enhancement of recreational and environmental experiences. Hernando Beach Property Owners Association, Inc. is a voluntary membership civic organization of property owners in the area designated as Hernando Beach. HBPOA gives those property owners a platform for a unified voice to government officials, and others, in order to protect their financial interest in, and their vested rights in their property in Hernando Beach. Our members come from all walks of life bringing a vast range of skills, talents, and knowledge to Hernando Beach. HBPOA members join together in various committees utilizing their expertise to provide representation to local and state governments for the benefit of all property owners of Hernando Beach. HBPOA members are welcome to join and contribute to various standing committees, as well as any "ad-hoc" committees that are formed as the need for them is identified. By working together we become, and are, a powerful voice advocating for all residents of our beautiful coastal community. http://nebula.wsimg.com/4ff5fedd316d682af5ed6c6ad706d316?AccessKeyId=CB1AE08509641CCA3B45&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

🚫🔥 Hernando County Burn Ban in Effect 🔥🚫

Hernando County has issued a burn ban effective January 8, 2026, for all unincorporated areas and the City of Brooksville. Dry weather and little rain have made it very easy for fires to start and spread. All outdoor burning is prohibited, including yard debris, bonfires, and campfires. This ban helps protect homes, businesses, and lives. The burn ban will stay in place until further notice.

Cooking on attended gas or charcoal grills is still allowed. Please never throw lit ci******es on the ground, as they can start dangerous fires. Exceptions to the burn ban may only be approved by the Florida Forest Service after inspection. To report burn ban violations, call the Hernando County Communications Center at 352-754-6830. Thank you for helping keep our community safe.
