Local friends - Registration is open and ticketing site is activated!!
The GFWC Spring Station Woman's Club's first BINGO fundraiser will be Friday, October 17, at 6:00 pm in the Spring Hill Events Center, 1018 Parkway Dr, Spring Hill, TN 37174.

$40 per person includes a meal furnished by award-winning Edley's Barbecue, 10-15 bingo games with prizes, a silent auction, and more fun! You will have the option to purchase additional bingo cards to increase your chances of winning!

Proceeds will be divided between our non-profit volunteer community service organization and Bright Apple. Bright Apple is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free healthy snacks for students every school day. Many students have lunch at school but don’t eat again until the next day. Their goal is to provide a daily healthy snack for every elementary school in Maury County, including Spring Hill. Please visit their website for more information. https://www.brightapple.org/

We are also collecting donated items for prizes and our silent auction.

"Healing for Heroes" is the GFWC Spring Station Woman's Club's upcoming fundraising event on September 24 for Operation Song®, which empowers veterans, active-duty military members, and their families to tell their stories through the process of songwriting. Those they serve need no musical or writing skills, only a willingness to share their stories and, with the help of professional songwriters, transform them into songs. https://www.operationsong.org/
How can you help? Our biggest needs are ticket sales and silent auction donations. Tickets are only $40 per person and include hors d'oeuvres, beverages, the silent auction, musical performances by Nashville songwriters and performers, and other activities. Ticketing link: https://GFWC.givesmart.com
“Healing our Heroes” is an excellent opportunity for your company to support a worthy cause and at the same time receive valuable exposure. One highlight of the evening is our silent auction. We invite you to consider a donation that would represent your business well when displayed and attract bids from interested guests. Your name and the value of the item will be on display for the guests to see. In addition, our ticketing site allows us to not only publicize donations by posting a picture and description of each auction lot (including information about the donor), but also provide a way for the public to bid on items even if they are unable to attend the event!
In conjunction with this fundraiser, we will be participating in the General Federation of Women's Clubs 2nd Annual National Day of Service, where all clubs are encouraged to do a project that pertains to food insecurity. Our club will be collecting the 10 items most frequently requested by the veterans who visit the Columbia VA office: canned chicken, stew, and chili, pancake mix and syrup, SPAM, Poptarts, canned fruit, instant potatoes, and paper towels. We are calling this project "Vittles for Vets". We will be delivering the food donation to Columbia on Wednesday, September 25.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. We can send you our auction donor request letter and a copy of our 501c3 form. Please email [email protected] if you can donate. All donations gratefully accepted.
