Newhouse Norsemen 4-H Club

Newhouse Norsemen 4-H Club Houston County 4-H Club The Newhouse Norsemen Club welcomes anyone who is interested to join us for our meetings. We had a potluck after our tour.

We usually meet the second Monday of the month at the Spring Grove Town Hall. We invite speakers to our meetings to learn about new events, projects and other new things in our area. We are always looking for Community Pride Projects. We continue to donate homemade items to the Festival of Trees, deliver Meals-On-Wheels and the Adopt-A-Highway project. We helped serve the Spring Grove Spaghetti Su

pper and helped the kids make fun Rudolph crafts. We also have helped serve lunch for the Maunday Thursday Semcac Senior Dining and serve dinner for the Semcac Senior Dining Volunteer appreciation supper. Our Club also stained the deck on the Spring Grove Town Hall. We also do fundraisers for our Club, a Pork Chop Supper with Red’s IGA. We are planning to go on an educational tour soon. In July we had our tour day to look at everyone’s fair projects. We also made 2 signs to encourage people to come to the County Fair and join our Club.

Busy day for the Newhouse Norsemen members! The younger members cleaned the town hall while the older ones cleaned our 2 mile Adopt-A-Highway stretch. After a short meeting and birthday greetings for Tyler T, some members cleaned up and laid fresh mulch for the west end city sign flower bed.
