Northern Illinois Helping Hands Food Pantry, Spring Grove Northern Illinois Helping Hands Food Pantry (501c3) is dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of the less fortunate in the Spring Grove area.

To check in, please go the Spring Grove Jewel Parking lot (on Rt 12) in the line facing McDonalds on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-6pm. Two staff members will be waiting to assist you.

St. Peter's Church in Spring Grove hosted the Knights of Columbus Council 12302
Donald R. Wehrheim,Jr Annual Northern Illinois Helping Hands Food Pantry Drive on August 22nd and 23rd . The drive was an amazing success both with food and monetary donations. We cannot thank enough all the people who helped with this endeavor. The Knights, Boy Scouts from troops 340 and 190 and volunteers from the food pantry all went above and beyond to make this event a success. In addition, we want to acknowledge the incredible generosity of the parishioners of St. Peter's Parish. God bless you all for the wonderful gift you have given to people in need in our community!

Just a reminder from the food pantry.
As you start harvesting vegetables in your beautiful gardens, please remember the less fortunate in our neighborhoods and donate your excess produce to a local food pantry. If you don't garden, please watch the grocery stores sales and please pick up some unlimited quantity sale items for your area friends to enjoy! God bless you all and have a wonderful 4th of July ! As per request of so many of our supporters, I am updating our pantry's current needs. Thank you for asking.
Tuna fish in cans, diced tomatoes, peanut butter and small jars of jelly, canned carrots, small containers of ketchup and mustard, fresh fruit of all kinds, and toilet paper.
