The Spring Grove Firefighters Association is a 501C3 Charitable Organization developed and run by the Spring Grove Firefighters. We are a social organization that meets monthly at the fire station. Primarily we raise funds that are used to provide FF education, equipment for the District, support for Explorer Post 1800, and a scholarship to a graduating Richmond-Burton HS senior. In the past, in a

ddition to the scholarships, we have provided funds to: Build the training facility located behind the fire station, purchase much of the educational media for the main classroom, send firefighters to outside classes, help pay for the Explorer Post’s annual training at the Illinois Fire Service Institute (IFSI), and contribute to the purchase of the ATV and other District equipment.

Hello folks!

Two weeks left until the Steak Fry on the 16th, and we’re down to only a few raffle tickets left. Remember, you can stop by the firehouse from 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday, to pick one up or ask any Spring Grove firefighter.

We're excited for the golf outing this Thursday and can't wait to see everyone there! In addition to a great day on the course, don’t miss out on the 50/50 Ball Drop Raffle and all the incredible items we'll be raffling off. It’s going to be a fun-filled day, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with all of you!

Dear Community Members,

We want to address the concerns raised regarding the quality of the steaks served at this year's Steak Fry. First and foremost, we want to assure you that we used the same trusted supplier as in previous years. Unfortunately, due to issues beyond our control, the quality of the meat did not meet our usual high standards. After the event, we reviewed the situation and determined that the meat itself was of lower quality than expected, which affected the overall experience.

We deeply regret any disappointment this may have caused and are committed to making sure this does not happen again. We have already started the process of sourcing higher-quality meat for next year's event to ensure that everyone enjoys a delicious and satisfying meal.

We hope that this experience does not deter you from joining us next year. We are excited to announce that we have already booked the Judson Brown Band, so there will be live music to enjoy while you dine.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to serving you better next year and making it an event to remember.
