River Valley Elementary PTO

On May 10th through May 16th the River Valley Elementary School held a Penny Wars Fundraiser to raise money to go towards field trips and supplies for the next school year. The winning classrooms for each grade would win ice cream and an extra recess. This was our first time doing this and we weren't sure what to expect. Well the students, teachers, staff and parents were incredible. During those 5 days they raised $2,232.23. The winning classrooms as follows:
1st Grade - Mr. Kazimier
2nd Grade - Mrs. Shelton-Ganser
3rd Grade - Ms. Fry
4th Grade - Mrs. Johnson

A special Thanks to Peoples Comminity Bank in Plain and Spring Green for counting all those Pennies.

Need something to do on August 31st at 5 pm. Come join us for our 1st ELC/ELM PTO meeting of the year. I know everyone is super busy but we could really use input from other parents. The meetings last about 30 minutes and we only meet a few times a year.

If you are a parent with a child or teacher at the RV ELC or Elementary School you are more than welcome to join us. If you are on the fence on whether you want to participate, come to a quick meeting to see what it's all about. On the agenda for this meeting is prepping for the Blackhawk Bolt.

The next River Valley Elementary/ELC PTO meeting is on Wednesday, March 15th at 5:15 pm at the Elementary School Library for those interested in attending. We plan to have the meeting wrapped up before the Advisory Task Force Meeting at the High School at 6 for those that wish to attend that meeting.
