🎆🐾 KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE THIS 4TH OF JULY 🐾🎆

While we love the beautiful displays, the loud booms of Fourth of July fireworks can be absolutely terrifying for our pets. The sudden noises and bright flashes cause extreme panic, making Independence Day one of the highest-risk times of the year for lost animals.

Before you head out to celebrate, take these crucial steps to protect your furry family members:
• 🏡 Keep Them Completely Indoors: Bring your dogs and cats inside well before dark. Even well-fenced yards are not safe; panicked animals can easily jump, dig, or squeeze through spaces to escape. Keep windows, doors, and blinds tightly shut to block out the sights and sounds.
• 🔒 Check and Update ID Tags: Ensure your pet is wearing a secure collar with up-to-date identification tags containing your current phone number. If they are microchipped, log into the registry today to confirm your contact info is accurate.
• 🎶 Create a Secure "Safe Haven": Set up a quiet, comfortable room or a cozy crate away from exterior walls. Fill it with their favorite blankets and toys. You can use a radio, TV, or white noise machine to help drown out the startling firework sounds.

Let’s look out for our pets so everyone has a happy, stress-free holiday! ❤️🤍💙
