Congratulations to OJR High School Senior Kelly Righter who is the recipient of this year’s East Vincent PTA Senior Scholarship.

In her essay, Kelly wrote about the power of volunteering and community, something she experienced firsthand during her years at East Vincent by watching her mom help with the PTA. Kelly frequently returned to East Vincent in middle school and high school as part of service hours for the many clubs and organizations she was a part of, even helping Mrs. Smith each year hang artwork for the art show.

Kelly will be attending West Chester University in the fall where she plans to major in marketing. Her professional goal is to work for a public relations firm, specifically in the area of event planning.

The PTA is trying something new tonight—fresh rose bouquets and candy grams will be on sale before the chorus concert. It’s a sweet way to cheer on your star.

We’ll be selling until supplies run out, and we accept cash and Venmo.

Funny but true! We are happy to check if you have an order placed. We will be going to print in the next few days for delivery before the school year ends. Many teachers allow students to have their yearbook signed by classmates for extra special memories.

As a special treat for our Read‑A‑Thon success, we held a wildly fun Masked Reader Assembly! All week long, students tried to guess which costumed characters were reading to them—a unicorn, a shark, a frog, an alien, and even a cat made surprise appearances.

Huge thanks to Miss Brown 🐱, Mr. Famous 🦄, Dr. Smith 🦈, Miss Orso 🐸, and Mrs. Barlow 👽 for bringing these characters to life and keeping everyone guessing!
