🎓✨ Surprise! ✨🎓

Families, I had the opportunity to meet with some of our amazing 5th graders and take a walk down memory lane. I asked them how long they’ve been at Spreckels and what their favorite memory was. The hardest part? Choosing just one! From field trips and school events to friendships and favorite teachers, the memories were endless.

And of course, we couldn’t let our 5th graders leave without hearing from the teachers who have been part of their journey. Their favorite memories and words of encouragement reminded us just how special this class truly is.

As Mrs. O’Hara says, “Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate.” 🏴‍☠️❤️

To our 5th graders, we are so proud of you and all you have accomplished. As you head off to your next adventure, know that Spreckels will always be home. Come back and visit us, we’d love to see you! And remember, PTO can always use a few extra hands at our fun events. 🤩

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

🎓✨ What a way to end an incredible chapter! ✨🎓

Our 5th graders sure went out with one final unforgettable memory. Through the vision, creativity, and teamwork of both parents and students, an amazing end-of-year bash came to life. One filled with laughter, celebration, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime.

To our 5th graders: Congratulations! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll do in middle school and beyond.

To the parents: Thank you all for coming together to create such a special experience. The time, effort, and love poured into this celebration gave each student a core memory they’ll carry with them forever.

Here’s to the Class of 2026! Once a Pirate, always a Pirate! 🏴‍☠️❤️

The final bell has rung, and what a beautiful way to close out another incredible year at Spreckels Elementary. ❤️🏴‍☠️

One of our favorite traditions returned after the last bell as staff lined the corner waving American flags, cheering, smiling, and sending students off into summer. Even our bus riders got to experience the special farewell as they drove by.

At the end of the day families gathered at our end-of-year photo spot, capturing memories of a school year filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and growth.

Today was filled with so many smiles, hugs, and yes even a few tears. We celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they prepare for their next adventure, and we also said goodbye to beloved staff members who are retiring or beginning new journeys of their own.

To all we say Goodbye to remember, Once a Spreckels Pirate, always a Spreckels Pirate. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish.

Thank you to our teachers, staff, families, volunteers, and students for making the 2025-2026 school year one to remember.
