Students from Duanesburg School District, one of the school districts that serves the Town of Charleston spent a day at the Schoharie River Center as part of the Day in the Life of the Mohawk" Program

The weather forecast for Saturday looks good for the two Trunk or Treats that are being staged in the Town of Charleston, NY. From noon until 3:00 p.m., there will be a Trunk or Treat at Hummingbird Hills Winery and at the Town of Charleston's Town Hall.

The Town Hall is also being transformed into a spooky Halloween Hall. Come visit us on Saturday 10/25 from noon until 3:00 for our "Trunk or Treat " event with refreshments, a Haunted Town Hall, and Halloween fun! Then, head over to the Hummingbird Hills Winery on Burtonville Road for more treats!

This event is supported by the Town of Charleston, NY's Youth Commission.

This Saturday (9/20/2025), the Comprehensive Planning Committee will be holding a Town of Charleston, NY visioning and land use discussion.

Please plan to attend and help chart a path for the Town!

The open meeting will be held at the Schoharie River Center, 2025 Burtonville Road, in Burtonville.

9:00 am. to Noon
Refreshments will be served!

The Committee has been working hard, but the Town of Charleston Needs Your Voice!

The next meeting of the Town of Charleston Youth Commission will be Monday, September 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. Please plan to attend to lay the plans for the next events - including Halloween and a Holiday event. All are welcome!
