📢 Sprague Alumni Association Announcement

A meeting of the Sprague Alumni Association has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 2nd at 4:00 PM via Zoom.

The sole purpose of this meeting is to hold a vote on dissolving the organization.

We encourage all members to attend and make their voices heard.

For those of you who are existing Alumni & Supporters members, a renewal form has been mailed out.
For those of you who would like to join the Sprague FFA Alumni & Supporters, we welcome you.
Membership is $25 / person. Your membership helps support our FFA members attend the state and possibly national convention. There are also discounts available at different businesses. Hello Sprague Alumni!
We hope you all are staying safe and enjoying some beautiful Spring weather. This has been a very trying year and we missed seeing you at a Banquet this year. However, that doesn't mean we can't still converse and share what's been going on in our lives. So please go ahead and comment or share pictures of how you've been spending your time since the pandemic hit or just since we last heard from you!

The 2020 Alumni Banquet has been Cancelled!

Sorry for the short notice, life has been hectic. However, we feel that due to COVID it is in the best interest of our alumni members that we cancel this year's banquet. If you would still like to donate to the Alumni Scholarship fund please feel free. Again we are very sorry, but we hope you all stay happy, healthy & safe!

It's that time of year again!! Sprague Alumni Association is hosting its 65th Annual Banquet!! It will be October 5th at 6:30pm in the Sprague Grade School Multi-Purpose Room.

This years honor classes are 1939, 1949, 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999 & 2009!!

We apologize for the late notice but between work & life & mailing issues your formal invitations should be arriving soon! However you can always RSVP (before September 25th) by email ([email protected]), by calling the Sprague School (509-257-2511) & asking for Stefani or by messaging here on Facebook!!!

TOP SECRET!!

Dear Alumni,

We need your help! As some of you may have heard at this point, Janet Whipple is retiring at the end of this school year after teaching in Sprague & Lamont for 32 years. Many of us have had Mrs. Whipple as a teacher at one point in time or another.

Here’s where you all come in! Staff would like to put together some sort of going away momento for her and would love for you to share your memories of her. We ask that you send us a short memory or sentiment, a sentence or two. They will be compiled into a presentation for her, which is why we ask you keep them short. If you have a longer memory you would like to share, we can pass that along to her at the end of the school year when we send her off, it just won’t be put into the presentation directly.

All memories or sentiments can be Direct Messaged to Sprague Alumni Association, sent to [email protected] or PO Box 171, Sprague, WA 99032. We need these by April 30th! All memories & sentiments received after that date will be passed along, but again will not be directly in the presentation.

HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Janet is unaware that we are putting this together for her. We wish to keep it a surprise so PLEASE DO NOT MENTION IT TO HER OR JOE!

One of our very own teachers, Mr. Austin Miller, was awarded the EWU/KHQ Teacher of the Month!! Mr. Miller is our amazing AG teacher and he really does go above and beyond for our students and staff. We are so proud of him and grateful for all he does for school!!
