Fredericksburg-Rappahannock Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America Founded in 1947, the Fredericksburg-Rappahannock Chapter is one of the oldest of over 300 Chapters. It is The Oldest Dog Focused Event in America !

Our 123 acre park is in the heart of the Fredericksburg-Chancellorville Civil War Battlegrounds. This is some of the most environmentally sensitive land in the U.S. Our 800+ members enjoy a large stocked pond, 4 fi****ms ranges, joint-use archery ranges, hiking trails, wooded picnic areas, playground areas, approved camping, 3 pavillions, and a club house. Our members reside in several counties su

rrounding Fredericksburg. We host nearly 2000 Boy Scouts that camp and train at our facility. Since the Chapter stepped up, We have provided the Fredericksburg Dog Mart for Our surrounding community for over 60 years. The Dog Mart Event goes back over 313 years and celebrates the trading of dogs and goods between Native Americans and early settlers.

The incredible team of beekeepers and 14 volunteers worked hard to collect about 450 pounds of liquid gold. 🐝
