We had a packed house and an incredible night for our September Stated Communication!

Huge shout-out to Brother Joshua Salazar first and foremost—that dinner was out of this world. Nobody left hungry tonight, that's for sure.

The rest of the evening was just non-stop highlights:
• We handed out memorable pins, coins, and scholarships to our esteemed brothers and sisters.
• Presented a special gift to RW Michael.
• Celebrated Brother Jim Wilhour hitting 91 years young! Happy birthday, Brother Jim!
• Met some new friends who might join us in the Masonic journey.

We were also honored to welcome Right Worshipful Michael Anthony Pelletier, our Grand Junior Warden, who joined us as our guest speaker and put on a fantastic program for the lodge.
Big thanks to everyone who came out to sit in lodge with us tonight. Nights like this are what the fraternity is all about. See you all next month!

At our August Stated Communication, Worshipful Master James Ragsdale presided over an election and installation to fill the vacancy in the South, in accordance with Section 2.36 of the Methodical Digest.

Please pray for our Brother Tyler Coopers mother Jennifer, as she is in the hospital unable to speak. The doctors have not determined the cause. Lord Jesus, we pray that you will heal Jennifer, bless her, and provide comfort to their family. In your name we pray, AMEN!

As many of you know, Wor. James Ragsdale is working hard manning the fireworks stand in front of Costco. If you can't make it out to help cover a shift, please consider dropping off some supplies like ice, bottled water, or drinks to help keep him cool. Any drop-offs are greatly appreciated!

Spotsylvania Lodge No. 26 met tonight for an inspiring evening of Masonic education and milestone celebrations.

The Feast of St. John: In honor of the Grand Master’s proclamation, Right Eminent William "Bill" Searcy III presented an excellent educational program on our Patron Saint, John the Baptist, alongside a powerful reminder to support the Masonic Home of Virginia (MAHOVA).

56-Year Milestone: The Lodge formally recognized and celebrated Right Worshipful Carl Weeks for his remarkable 56 years of dedicated service to the Craft.

Tonight, Spotsylvania Lodge No. 26 traveled to Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge No. 4 for a special Called Communication dedicated to the growth of our Craft.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Brother John Garman successfully returned a flawless Entered Apprentice catechism examination! His hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence were on full display tonight, earning a unanimous vote of proficiency from the brethren.

A huge thank you to Worshipful James Ragsdale for his excellent mentorship of Brother Garman, and to Worshipful David Bennett for stepping into the East to conduct tonight's examination.

Please join us in congratulate Brother John on this major milestone as he prepares to take his next step in Freemasonry!

Abaca Grotto, MOVPER will meet on Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4. This month, Abaca Grotto is hosting a Turtle Degree event before the meeting. Those interested in gathering for dinner may do so at J. Brian's at 5:30 p.m. The Turtle Degree event will be held in the Baker Room of Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4 at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The cost of the Turtle Degree for those who have not yet had it is $20. The event is open to all Freemasons and Their Ladies. If you want to pre-register for this event, please go to Abaca Grotto's website

We had a truly memorable Stated Communication on April 27th. We were honored to receive an official visit from the Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, Most Worshipful Matthew Todd Szramoski.

Before the meeting, we enjoyed a fantastic fellowship dinner and a presentation from Mark Shuman, Head Coach of the Fork Union Military Academy football team. It was a privilege to present him with a Certificate of Appreciation!
