Anyone know the two lovebirds who decided to dig through our donation bins last night and leave quite the mess outside our Fredericksburg location? 😞
Unfortunately, this has become a very common occurrence. Our biggest concerns are the mess left behind for our employees to clean up, the safety of those going through the bins, and the fact that these donations are entrusted to our organization to support our mission.
We are always willing to help someone who is struggling financially. In fact, we regularly place FREE items outside the store that anyone is welcome to take—no questions asked. There is simply no need to dig through our donation bins or scatter donated items across the property.
Because these incidents are happening so frequently, we will begin notifying law enforcement when individuals are caught removing items from our donation bins, dumpster diving, or otherwise violating the rules of our properties.
We truly don’t want it to come to that. Please respect our property, our employees, and the donations our community so generously gives us. ❤️
