On this day in 1919 the first American Legion caucus was held by members of the American Expeditionary Force, convening in Paris. War-weary members of the American Expeditionary Forces gathered for a “morale conference” that led to the creation of what would become The American Legion.
As we celebrate our 107th birthday, we offer thanks to all former and current members for keeping us going strong in our mission to serve the nation’s veterans, our military and their families, and our communities.

Merry Christmas all!

May God bless you all and may you remember the reason for the true celebration of Christmas. Celebrate the coming of the Messiah and the continual reminder that each day is a blessing provided to us, and not a guarantee. Remain thankful in us knowing that because of todays meaning, and the passion of Christ, that we have eternal life in His mercy if you seek the salvation only He can provide. May the almighty Lord keep you, bless you, and watch over you in your Christmas celebrations, and always.

**Reminder that BINGO and other Squadron activities will resume after the new year. Meeting is on for 2pm on 3 January and will resume operations, welcoming in the new year.**

“Passing a budget is a constitutionally mandated responsibility of Congress. Our troops take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, and they do their job. Congress also takes an oath to the Constitution. It’s time they do their job."
