Congratulations to Tyler Jackson who was selected as the recipient for two separate scholarships sponsored by the department at last weeks Spotswood High School Senior Awards Night. Tyler received both the Joe Bove Community Service Scholarship (presented to someone who goes above and beyond giving back to the community in the way of community service) and our newly created R.J. Oross Memorial Scholarship (this is presented to students who do not necessarily want to attend a traditional two or four year college, but rather students who are planning on attending a trade school, joining the military, or are looking for a career in emergency services). Congratulations Tyler on earning these two scholarships!
