We've been heartbroken watching the wildfires impact our community, and we know so many of you are asking how you can help. Here are a few local organizations accepting donations and support for wildfire relief right now. If you know of other ways to help, please share them in the comments so we can spread the word.
Innovia Foundation - The Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund will support nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community organizations working to meet the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in our region.
H.O.M.E Starts Here Fund β Typically used to support services for people experiencing homelessness, this fund is being activated to accept donations for community members impacted by the recent wildfires.
American Red Cross Northwest Region β Fund supporting those affected by WA wildfires.
Catholic Charities Eastern Washington β An emergency fund has been set up that will allow their Emergency Response team to provide essential items, housing, counseling, support, and short/long term assistance to those impacted.
Feast World Kitchen β Donate to their community meal fund to keep free hot meals coming for fire-affected neighbors and first responders.
Global Neighborhood Thrift & Vintage β Offering Fire Emergency Donation Bins at its retail store and drive-through donation center. Community members can help by donating clean clothing.
Partners INW β Collecting donations of non-perishable food, clothing, diapers, hygiene items, and financial gifts to help continue serving families affected by the fires.
Project Beauty Share β Urgently collecting NEW hygiene items (shampoo, toothbrushes, feminine products, soap, deodorant, and similar essentials) for families displaced by the fires and firefighters working around the clock.
Second Harvest Inland Northwest β Donate non-perishable food or give monetarily. Donations made by August 11 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.
