For six days Spokane area Kiwanis Club members hosted a book distribution at the fire victims resource center at Shadle Park High School. They distributed well over 3,000 children’s books as well as a large number of books for adults.

East Spokane Kiwanis Club members filled over 800 backpacks with school supplies this morning as they helped the Salvation Army prepare for its annual back pack distribution scheduled for this coming Saturday. This local event provides free backpacks and school supplies for more than 3,000 K-12 students.
